For Earth’s Sake at The Great Green Barn presents What's happening at the Great Green Barn? a free to attend meeting with Vanessa Ford-Robbins and Georgios Nyfoudis of The Life Goddess
This is an open meeting for individuals and organisations who are interested in the events being programmed at the Great Green Barn, or who might wish to use the venue for their own meetings or events.
Vanessa Ford-Robbins will host the meeting, and start by discussing how the 17th century threshing barn has been authentically restored, and the types of events that Vanessa sees happening at this delightful new venue in Surrey. Vanessa will talk in terms of both our own programme of events (including courses, talks, theatre, board games evenings and concerts) and the uses that individuals and organisations may wish to host with us. Aligning with Vanessa's ethos, events at the Great Green Barn will heavily lean towards those which are sustainable, benefit the planet or have beneficial community reach.
Vanessa will then introduce Georgios Nyfoudis of London's The Life Goddess in Store Street who will talk of the courses of traditional Greek cookery courses he will be leading from September '24. There will also be an opportunity for people to sign up to the courses, which will be a mix of weekly and one-offs.
There will be a Q&A session at the end of the meeting, and both Vanessa and Georgios will be on hand during refreshments to answer further questions.
